Call Center
-Located in GCB 120
The Call Center employs one full-time manager, Melina Tuiravakai (ext.3481), and 25 student workers. The Call Center consists of two areas:
- Operators(0 or ext.3211)-duties:
- Answer and transfer phone calls
- Assist with toll-free and international phone calls
- Be primary point of contact in the event of an emergency
- Provide switchboard service to our neighboring Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC).
- Know times and locations of Campus and PCC events
- Know times and locations of local community events
- Know Emergency procedures for disaster events
- Locate personnel in the event of an emergency
Hours of Operation: M-F 7 am-12am, Sat.7am-9pm
- Help Desk(ext.3921)-duties:
- Provide first level support for all IT questions on campus
- Check and monitor status of
- Network availability
- IP phones
- Web services
- Peoplesoft services
- Kronos
- And more
- Create incident reports
- Escalate trouble calls to appropriate personnel
- Reset CES passwords
- Reset Voicemail passwords
Hours of Operation: M-F 8am-5pm.
