Call Center

-Located in GCB 120

The Call Center employs one full-time manager, Melina Tuiravakai (ext.3481), and 25 student workers. The Call Center consists of two areas:

  • Operators(0 or ext.3211)-duties:
    • Answer and transfer phone calls
    • Assist with toll-free and international phone calls
    • Be primary point of contact in the event of an emergency
    • Provide switchboard service to our neighboring Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC).
    • Know times and locations of Campus and PCC events
    • Know times and locations of local community events
    • Know Emergency procedures for disaster events
    • Locate personnel in the event of an emergency

            Hours of Operation: M-F 7 am-12am, Sat.7am-9pm

           

  • Help Desk(ext.3921)-duties:
    • Provide first level support for all IT questions on campus
    • Check and monitor status of
      • Network availability
      • IP phones
      • Web services
      • Peoplesoft services
      • Kronos
      • And more
    • Create incident reports
    • Escalate trouble calls to appropriate personnel
    • Reset CES passwords
    • Reset Voicemail passwords

 
            Hours of Operation: M-F 8am-5pm.
