Client Services

Located at the back side of the Library in JFS 149

 

Client Services (ext.3686) employs one full-time manager: Darryl Kimak (ext.3206); three full-time CSRs: Jared Nikora, Olivia Lavaki, and Daniel Loveridge; and eight part-time student workers.

 

Client Services is responsible for:

  • Setting the campus standards for computer purchases
  • Managing the purchase and replacement process of computers
  • Removal, disposal or surplus of replaced computers
  • Maintaining the inventory of campus computers
  • Installing, configuring, imaging,  and maintaining campus computers
  • Managing university software site licenses and inventory
  • Testing hardware and software for compatibility
  • Provide hardware and software support

 

Client Services provides second level support to all faculty, staff, and student workers (800 computers) for application and operating system issues. They are also responsible for maintaining the hardware for all enterprise computers (about 1650 at last count).

 

Their hours of operation are M-F 8am-5pm
